I have a 32” TV that I would like to have mounted to my wall. Ideally to hide the TV cables behind the wall too. It is a plasterboard wall and is internal, so wouldn’t involve dealing with any brickwork. The aerial connections are already working and a plug socket already available within reach of the wall. Would this be strong enough to support a TV of this size or would it need some other kind of support?
Hi, I've had lots of renovation work done and need to paint a load of internal walls. I’m just wondering if there's any particular paint brands that I should be using? There seems to be so many options and I don’t want to buy something with rubbish coverage. How many coats should i be expecting, including undercoat? Thanks
I've just had a garden shed built in my garden to be used as a workshop. I need to run an electricity cable from my back kitchen over to the shed about 15 metres away. I have a power socket outside but I don’t just want to run an extension and i'm not sure if i'll need some sort of safety measure in place? Will I also need to get certification of its safety?
The bleed valve on my radiator is stuck. I've tried loosening it up with WD40 but nothing seems to be working. Can I buy a replacement bleed valve? What else could I try to get it open? Thank you
Hello, I want to know who is responsible for the fences around my garden? I am looking to get the fence replaced to the left of the property as you look from the patio doors. Is there any hard fast rules around who is responsible for the fences around your boundary?
Currently there is a build up of limescale in the toilet bowl, where it isn’t getting flushed away. I have tried some standard limescale removing products, but don’t seem to have any long-lasting effects on the bowl. Is there any sure-fire options to clear away the limescale? Ideally, something with industrial strength to make sure that it will be cleared. Any other suggestions are also welcome if you’ve some success with other methods! Thanks
Just wondering if someone could help me. I need my bathroom renovating. The whole thing needs removing and new bath, sink and toilet installed along with tiling etc. It's about 3 metres by 3 metres. I cant have no use of my bathroom for too long so I just need to know how long i can expect it to take? Its a relatively basic unit that needs installing but if someone could provide me with some timeframes it would really help me plan everything out. Thank you very much.
My porch door won't lock, it is a double glazed upvc door only fitted a year ago. The handle lifts up but it seems like it is sticking so I can't turn the key. Does anyone know how to fix it cheaply?
Hi, I've bought everything I need for my new bathroom. Bath, vanity unit with sink, toilet, tiles, paint, taps and everything in between. My husband was supposed to be doing the installation but he's recently fell ill and isn't up to it. How much should I be paying for the labour, removing my current bathroom, disposing of it, making good and installing the new bathroom suite?
I need a base for a garden shed but whats the cheapest and best way to lay a base down? The shed is 8ft x 6ft and want to lower costs by laying the base myself. Any advice would be appreciated.
