"If I am correct, I believe you are meaning, sterling board or OSB board which would be the correct board to use"

"yes it can, however, depending on the type of internal wall, for example block-work or timber you may need to seek professional assistance on the best application method. Fibre insulation boards are normally used in place of floorboard, they come tongue & groove ready in different sizes and lengths and usually 18mm thick although you can get them thicker. They work out cheaper than floorboards and they offer better coverage per square metre."

"Yes they can be installed on internal walls they are very good renewable source of insulation, can be used on rafters, stud walls and interior walls"

"Sure, but there are much better options for interior insulation.
These are mainly used for exterior insulation where you have to deal with the elements as well."

"When insulating solid walls it is not always possible to apply external insulation as there can be restrictions with access, altering the visual appearance of the external facade, such as listed building or conservation area restrictions, or issues with neighbouring properties and the depth of insulation required. Therefore, internal insulation is the alternative solution."

"solid wall insulation on brick or stone (a levelling coat of render may be required if the surface is uneven) or for direct fixing to timber frames to form a breathable and durable insulation system."
