What type of trowel do I need for repointing my exterior walls?

"A good quality small pointing trowel (Marshall town maybe) to apply the mortar then use a brick jointer to smooth it off, leave to go semi dry before smoothing and best results."

"Depends the size of the perps and beads . If The pointing is weather structure then you need a 5 mm long stick or metal and pointing troweL. Watch videos on you tube Charlie colison is really good."
