Where to start fitting kitchen base units

Where's the best starting point when fitting kitchen base units? Is it the corner or wall end?

"I agree with the previous answer. You always have to start that way."

"If between the two you named, corner would be much more convenient. These to consider, anyway:
kitchen design
appliances location
floor level
room features (sloping ceiling, stairs above etc)"

"I would say lay them all in place dry then you'll be able to get an idea of where you need to start, it should also become apparent when you look at the working drawing"

"Hi,
all depends upon the space and if there are for example a kitchen sink required or cooker required.
That is if you do not want to move existing water and waste pipework. electrical sockets. Then one would work from those points with base units to cover them.
If there are no such requirements as mentioned previously then it really does not matter. I normally work from the centre outwards"

"Always in the corners it depends on the cupboards and how they fit the walls if they go corner to corner can sometimes start in middle build cupboards put them in place and see how it comes out but usually start in corner"

"Always the corner .you should have a filer for the end so it can be trimmed to fit the gap"

"I’d use the cooker & hob as reference points and start from there keeping in mind the appropriate regulations.."

"From the corner. Take into account the corner post to align with the adjacent unit. Or the details and sizes will be on uour plan. Good Luck."

"Definitely the corner and work out from there... most have a corner post to place on unit or a kit to form the corner"
