Do you remove painter's tape while the paint is drying or after it's fully dried?

"I always find it helpful to remove before it's fully dry as once it's dried sometimes it creates a seal which peels the paint back off the wall."

"When using painters tape, the best time to remove it from the surface is when the finished paint is dry to the touch. This is usually about one hour after applying the paint. If it is removed earlier it may give a distorted finishing line, and any longer it may pull the newly applied paint from the surface."

"Painter's tape should be removed while the paint is still wet, typically within after painting, to ensure clean and sharp paint lines. If left on too long, it can become difficult to remove."

"I always wait till paint has dried because if you try to remove tape while still wet it will pick up all the debris that is on floor and will stick to anything that is still wet and all your hard work will be for nothing"
