What outdoor doorstep paint?

I wanted to re paint my front doorstep that is outside but have no idea what paint to get. It's that old red brick/tile stuff and it needs updating

"You need to scrape the old paint off , it’s easier with a heat gun ,then you need to use a primer paint first and then use a external paint to finish off"

"If you wanted to keep it red then you can buy the red paint from Robert dyas for that if you wanted to change the colour and outside gloss paint would do"
