"A standard kitchen base unit is 870 mm from floor to top of unit. + the thickness of worktop
EG 40 mm so total height floor to top of worktop is 910 mm
Assuming that the base cabinet has a plinth / kick board height of 150 mm and a door height of 720 mm."

"The standard accepted height of floor base units is 870mm plus the thickness of your worktop.
Most cabinets are 705mm / 720mm or 735mm average height of your kick boards would be 150mm.
Ikeas range from the last 2 years however are base units are 800mm high and kick boards 80mm.
Hope this helps"

"910mm finished height from floor to top of worktops tends to be what we aim for, however some may be out due to the floor being un level, but the discrepancy will only be around 10-15mm if found if your fitter has started at the right place if your floor is out."

"The average height of kitchen worktop is 890-900 mm from the base of the worktop so the depth of the worktop can determine the overall height. If that’s tight in what you need the feet of the new style units normally have adjustable feet."

"Hi
That is perfectly normal with free standing appliances to have a gap above. Integrated appliances can be lifted up.
Normal height under worktop would be 870-885mm."

"Hi, the standard height is 900mm from the floor. The only idea that I have is that, if it is the undercounter oven that is too low, is to have a plynth made under the oven to lift it up inside the unit."

"There should be 1 inch to 2 inches max between worktops if it’s more then there’s a possibility that something isn’t quite right but it’s hard to say without looking at it.
Thanks Jonathan"
