What is snecked sandstone?

What is snecked sandstone? Does it look naturally weathered? I can't find enough information online.

"Snecked sandstone is smaller stone blocks used to fill areas between larger stone blocks.Like a block wall but not all blocks are the same size.It wont look weathered initially but it will eventually weather."
