What is an EPC rating and how do I find out what my home's EPC rating is?

It's the energy efficiency of a property,  insulation level, window type etc.

An epc is an energy performance certificate checks are carried out around the home checking for heat loss due to lack of insulation or old windows or glass that has lost its argon gas. Lots of things are taken into account and based on the findings your property will be given an energy rating and a report of the finding I also believe you’re given advice on what can be improved. An EPC stands for ‘Energy Performance Certificate’ and is a measure of how efficient your property is. 
It looks at things like boiler, fabric of building, insulation, lights/bulbs and how the property could be improved. 
EG: if you currently have an ‘a-rated’ property and are considering a heat pump you would not be improving the efficiency much so probably would not be entitled to the full £5k BUS rebate.

It’s energy performance cirtificate you can get someone with the epc ticket to do a epc survey in your house it’s usually you need one when your selling your house
