Hi, a smart video doorbell is a doorbell with a camera that you can answer from anywhere in the world as long as you have Internet. You can see who is at your door from your phone. They cost around £50 wired and £100 with battery. Installing costs around £100-£150. I hope that helps

I have a ring doorbell myself. They are very good. Pick up motion at a good angle. Cost wise I am unsure what they are now. They are easy to install as they are wireless it’s literally fit and download the app. Your phone gets a notification each time you have motion in the view of the bell. Also, you can talk through the app when answering the door if not in or if you are in and hiding lol. I think they are pretty good hope that helps.
