Any gravel works as long as the hard standing and drainage is adequate.

A permeable resin drive is an excellent choice.

You can use any gravel on a driveway , what matters is the boarders /edging to hold the gravel in place, the gravel should finish level with the pavement.

You need to use washed gravel,so it won't cause  sandy or mulch.it is for good drainage

Hi Angie me personally, I would tend to go with 20mm shingle as it's less likely to get caught in the bottom of shoes and tyre tread

Any reply 40mm slate probably best bet as it doesn't displace as much as smaller decorative stone.. should be 2 inches deep consistent all over driveway surface...

Any gravel over 10mm anything under 10mm will get stuck in car tyres and end up all over the road.
