What type of adhesive do glass tiles need?

Same adhesive as a usual tile . Always ask where your buying it from if its suitable though. Most adhesives should be fine .

We believe that the following will help you:

Glass tiles require the use of a high performance (ANSI 118.4 or better) polymer modified thin-set. 
One of the options that we have used is: Mapei Adesilex P10, it is a white, high performance adhesive specifically designed for the installation of glass, ceramic, porcelain and natural stone mosaics.

White is best. Just don't scratch back of tiles when installing or you might see adhesive.
