Installing a wetroom in a ground floor flat

Hi,

I am looking for good advice regarding installing a wetroom to a ground floor flat with concrete floors.
Can this be done?

I have created many wetrooms with concrete floors there are no real issues as the original gravity wastes can be moved to suit, if they cannot be used then a pumped waste system can be used. This obviously adds extra costs to the job as well as extra electrical work.

Hi,

Most things are possible as long as you have the right mind set, this is possible you can either raise the wet room up on a studded floor or chisel away the concrete to make room for the waste.

Depends on where the existing waste is. If the waste isn’t in the correct place, a macerator can be installed which pumps the water away to the nearest drain outlet.

Yes if outside drains Close to outside wall off bathroom
As floor can be channelled out to lay down new wast..

Yes you can fit a wet room floor into a concrete floor, the waste system is the real issue but solutions are available.
