Washing machine in bathroom

Is it possible to put a washing machine in the bathroom? I want to remove the unused immersion heater and move my washing machine upstairs but don’t know if this is even allowed.

"Also an electrical issue as it can’t be within 3mtrs from the edge of the bath or shower, so would need a big bathroom"

"You can put it in a vented cupboard within a bathroom, and all the wiring is inside the cupboard"

"Lindsey,

Yes this is quite easy to achieve, just a case of getting cold supply feed which you should have already in airing cupboard and the waste into bathroom drainage.

Kind Regards

"It is a bad idea to have a washing machine or any electrical appliances in a bathroom. Because of the risk of electric shock"

"No it’s not due to the increased risk of electric shock even shaver sockets have to be 110vac, no 240v ac appliances are allowed due to increased electrocution risks due to moisture content in the air.."
