What is the best brand or retailer for vintage-styled radiators? By that I mean modern radiators but with an old-fashioned look?

"Depends on what you are willing to pay. Castrads are excellent but pricey. The main thing to consider and I say this to all of our customers is make sure the new radiator has the correct output for the room. A lot of times and usually because these are expensive it gets replaced by a smaller radiator that cannot heat the room sufficiently. It’s not the radiator that’s at fault but the size. You will be surprised how large these radiators have to be for the correct output. Another thing is to make sure the output is listed at DT50 and not DT60.

"Hello, there are various smaller manufacturers but Stelrad are one of the biggest radiator manufacturers and have a good reputation. They are called 'school radiators' or cast iron column radiators. See Stelrad's website. All the best."
