Tyrolean plaster gun

Is it easy to use a Tyrolean plaster gun? What are its benefits over adding plaster in a more conventional way?

"Yes , it’s a plastic hopper , that sprays it out giving you a texture , and you will need the gun to apply the material."

"It's not easy to use and certainly no substitute for the real thing"

"You don’t put plaster in it two start with. Also don’t over fill the gun as you will spill it"

"When I have done it in the past I have tied a bedsheet over my shoulder onto the gun because it gets heavy and it is quite difficult physically to push the blades round. You need to have a bit of experience ideally or you will struggle. You also have to mix it to a very good consistency."

"Yes they are easy to use but if your not use to it it can become a bit strenuous on the arm as regards to its benefits they do a good job of spreading evenly"

"Tyrolean gun,s when full are awkward and make your arm ache as you are holding it with one hand and turning the flicker arm with the other .put a rope around the gun and long enough to go around the back of your neck ,this takes the wait off holding a full machine . You dont use tyrolean in side a house it is an exterior product .it goes onto renderd houses .never re,tyrolean over old tyrolean ,it doesnot work."
