how much should I expect to pay to have a 30 foot elder tree felled in my rear garden in the west midlands?

Depending on wether theres a lot of work involved or if we just cut it from the trunk and let it fall in a safe manner around 2000 but if you are interested in getting it removed we are currently running a discount of 35% until next month

I would charge a day rate of £300 as then no matter what you are covering all costs

In order to price this, any contractor would need to:

- see the tree
- know whether there is space to fell it
- know whether there is vehicular access

Also, do you just want the tree felled or do you want it cut up and removed?

You need to provide a bit more information to help price this, preferably with photos.
