"I wouldnt recommend screwing as you may split the tile if your doing it yourself, making sure the transition is as level as possible is key, if it isnt id user a thicker strip to fade it out, then use a adhesive to fix down"

"Tools needed
- tape measure
- hack saw
- tin snips
- frame gun
- no nails adhesive

Measure the doorway normally the bar should sit under the door way so it’s not seen when the door is closed
Cut the doormat to size by marking it cut it with the hacksaw. Put it in place to make sure it fits once your happy put some adhesive on the back of the bar and bang some nails in to hold it down steady"

"Depending on which threshold you would be installing I personally would screw and glue with an adhesive such as ‘sticks like sh*t’.

Tools required:
Tape measure
Pen/pencil
Chop saw / hack saw
Screws/pins
Adhesive
Mastic gun."

"One solution is M-D's Tile to Laminate Hardwood Transition. The product is easy to install using a snap track system. Secure the snap track to the floor and snap the wood transition into place between the two flooring surfaces. You will see no exposed fasteners"
