"Adjustable wrench (Bahco) .. close valves and drain off radiator, you will need a flexible bowl to catch the water… you can use the top bleed valve to control the flow while draining.. if you have a wet vacuum cleaner, you can use that, that’s what I use…as a Plumber.."

"If you have good valves and they don't let by and changing like for like then drill level grips adjustable spanner and a vent key if you have to drain your system well then it will be a bit more involved"

"Suitable sized spanner and a supporting adjustable wrench. Turn off both valves first. Get a suitable shallow container to catch the water and have a bucket handy. And old towels. Water may be black. Don’t overtighten when refitting."

"You only need one tool to remove a radiator, a Qualified plumber.
You should not undertake your own plumbing as this always ends in tears.
You will also void any insurance policy claim you then have to make for damages you will cause when you mess it up and the property floods."

"An adjustable spanner and a couple 1/2 inch caps and a couple 15mm cap ends to cap the ends of the radiator so you don't spill the heating water"
