Tiling a Rooftop Patio

Good day. I have a rooftop patio off of my kitchen on my third floor apartment. I recently removed the old decking to find the roof (normal flat, black, felt? apartment building roofing) is in fine shape--thankfully. Now, I'd like to install exterior ceramic/porcelain tiles. Can I put adhesive right on the roofing, or do I need a cement substrate first? The slope is already well structured towards the drain and so I'd like to avoid using self-leveler/skreed if possible? Thanks in advance for any guidance.

"Hi you would need to prime the area first then tank it and then you can tile using a normal flexible tile adhesive with a flexible grout
Hope this helps
Many thanks

"Hi.
You would need waterproofing/tanking and laying down decoupling / antifracture membrane ( recomended Schlutter ditra 25, durabase CI++, Bal, Tilemaster antifracture mat), then tiling ,using S2 type flexible adhesive and a flexible grout.
Jobe done!"
