Switching hot and cold water taps around

Question

The hot and cold water taps in my WC are the opposite way round to the bathroom and kitchen taps. Can these be easily swapped round and how much is it likely to cost me?

Hello I hope your well  yeah you can switch them around but depending on how they are plumbed I’m as the hot and cold Pipe could be the wrong way or the flexi pipes used could be the wrong way but a simple job and it would be around £90 labour plus material if needed thankyou Tommy

The easiest way to  know  is that cold is always on the right  hot is left as you look at it 
 There are many occasions when I came across  taps plumbed in wrong way round  that's because how ever installed it   hasn't got the right experience. However if it's just wrong on say a bath or basin  you could live with it  just swap round the labels on the taps 
However if  hot water is entering the toilet  of course that needs changing  or if it's entering a mixer  shower   wrong  it could be a problem  for sure.    But to change  pipes round   depends on  the  site conditions   if there are Flexi pipes involved they should easily be swapped    costs would very  from job to job.    Shouldn't take more then an hour  to change over

It's straight forward as long as you have the right tool and the water supply is turned off about 35 to 45 pounds Vince 👍

Yes they can, most taps you don’t have to take off to change the colour disk around. 
But if the Flexy’s have to be turned round that would make the price go up.

Its a straight forward job to swap round the pipes and we would charge £60 (location dependent).

Hi the right way round is hot on left cold on right simple answer is yes it's a case of swapping around the flexible hoses if fitted if not alter hot and cold pipework this would be approx £90.00 labour and materials hope this helps
