How do I stop mice climbing on bird feeder?

Mice are climbing up onto our bird feeder table. Do you have any tips to stop them?

"Mice are brilliant agile climbers. There is no way to stop then accessing bird tables.
If it is a hanging feeder, and they are using the arm to access it them you will need to adapt this. A metal shinny plate with a less than 6mm width cut grove, slide over the handle and sitting above the feeder, will be an obstacle, too tricky to pass. Also look at anti Squirrel ones and see if they meet your requirements?

"Remove it from the property would be a good idea that would help in avoiding pigeons also"

"Hi Simon,

Firstly bird feeders are highly attractable for encouraging rodent activity, some customers have put oil on the pole of there bird feeders to stop rodents from climbing them, but i would make sure the feeders are high enough and away from obstacles so rodents do not have any access them.

I hope this helps

"metal or similar materials to prevent rodents from climbing or traveling along a particular route. Guards must be wide enough and positioned appropriately to keep rodents from climbing over or jumping around them. Attach sheet metal bands to walls to prevent climbing by rodents."
