Your question is awaiting moderation by the MyJobQuote team.

I have a five hundred sqfeet garden. Its is very soggy and is unusable, mostly after rain. We think we need a french drain to help release the water. Can anyone help

"Hi it depends on were you can send the water too
And what the grounds like if it’s clay ground not so easy
Can do something like find down spout drain and get it in to that if it’s deep enough hopefully it helps but would have to see it first"

"Before thinking about French drains it is sometimes better to do a few trial holes to find out what is going on underneath . Once you work out what’s happening underneath the ground you can start looking at solutions .It is also worth looking into thirsty trees hedges or shrubs at the garden centre .I prefer soakaways to be used in conjunction with French drains .Hope that helps a little Tommy Paterson"
