"Creating a sloping garden involves shaping the land to have different levels or terraces, which can add visual interest, improve drainage, and help define a separate garden zone. Here is how I personally would suggest making a sloping garden and use it to increase the privacy that you tailor/ would like:

1). Assess the Slope: so identify the gradient and the natural flow of the land. This will guide your design and construction.

2). Plan Terraces or Levels: Divide the slope into flat or gently sloping terraces using retaining walls or raised beds. This makes the space more usable and easier to maintain - trust me! :-D

3). Build Retaining Walls: The fun bit said nobody ever lol! So use materials like stone, brick, timber, or even concrete blocks to hold back earth (soil) and create stable planting areas!..

4). Now it’s time to add Steps or Pathways: Connect different levels with steps or paths for easy access and flow.

** NOW IT’s STARTING TO LOOK DECENT AND YOU CAN SEE IT ALL COMING TOGETHER THE HARD WORK IS ALMOST PAID OFF… **

5). Planting Strategically: I would use plants with strong root systems on slopes because this will help to prevent erosion. Also make sure that you mix shrubs, trees, and ground covers to stabilize soil and create texture.

6). Incorporating Seating or Features: Now place benches, decks, or water features at different levels for interest and relaxation spots.

Elevation Changes: By raising certain areas, you can create natural screens that block views from neighboring properties!

Retaining Walls and Planting: Retaining walls combined with tall shrubs, hedges, or trees on the upper terraces act as privacy barriers.

Layered Planting: Planting in tiers lets you create dense foliage screens at different heights, which is harder to see through.

Strategic Seating Placement: Position seating or play areas on lower terraces shielded by plants and walls above, making them more secluded.

Visual Barriers: Slopes can block sightlines, so neighbors or passersby can’t easily see into your garden spaces.

Best of luck with this project and I hope that you succeed in your wishes going forward

"A sloping garden is created by shaping the land into levels or gentle inclines using terracing, raised beds, or retaining walls.

It increases privacy by:

Elevating seating areas above eye level

Blocking sightlines from neighboring properties

Allowing strategic planting of hedges or trees on raised levels for better screening."

"Trellis and climber plants help with privacy
Sloping is always possible and needs a base foundation to hold weight and increments of slopes in incline load bearing"
