"Its not easy to remove a laminate board from the middle of an existing floor due to the boards been tongue and groove. We can do this to save you removing all the furniture but it won't be perfect when reinstated. The small gaps either side of the board after removal need to be filled with wood filler or its a complete replacement.
The tiles to the kitchen can be easily replaced without disruption to the other tiles."

"It’s impossible to change a laminate floor panel due to the fact that they are all interconnected

Kitchen tiles can easily be replaced and then grouted in"

"Depends on the direction in which the laminate is started. But it's still not impossible."

"I would be easier to repair it yes but also you have got to think of new laminate comparing to old laminate the colour will be different but just for a standard repair and repairing 3 tiles I would charge 100"

"Repairing a laminate floor in the sitting room and replacing broken tiles in the kitchen are both manageable, but each comes with specific challenges. Here’s how to approach them:
Sitting Room Laminate Repair

Repairing laminate flooring in a room with furniture can be challenging, but with planning, it’s doable.

Assess the Damage:
If the damaged boards are near the edges, they’re easier to replace.
For boards in the middle, some surrounding planks may need to be removed.

Move Furniture:
Shift furniture to one side of the room to create space.
Use furniture sliders to avoid scratching the floor.

Repair Options:
If you have spare boards, unlock and replace the damaged planks.
For small chips or scratches, use a laminate repair kit.

Tip: Extensive damage might require replacing the entire floor for consistency.
Kitchen Broken Tiles (12x12 inches)

Replacing three broken tiles is a more focused job and typically quicker to complete.

Remove the Damaged Tiles:
Score the grout around the broken tiles using a utility knife.
Carefully chisel out the tiles to avoid damaging surrounding ones.

Prepare the Surface:
Clean off any old adhesive and debris to ensure a smooth surface.

Install New Tiles:
Apply tile adhesive evenly and place the replacement tiles, aligning them properly.
Press them firmly into place.

Grouting:
Once the adhesive is dry, apply matching grout to the joints and clean off excess with a damp sponge.

Tip: If you don’t have spare tiles, try to find ones that closely match the existing size and design.
Which Job is Easier?

Replacing kitchen tiles is usually simpler and faster, requiring less disruption.
Repairing laminate flooring may take more time due to furniture movement and the nature of laminate installation.

Recommendations

Start with the kitchen tiles, as it’s a smaller and more straightforward task.
For the sitting room, ensure you have spare planks or a repair kit ready before starting.

If either job feels difficult, hiring a professional ensures efficiency and quality results. Let me know if you need further advice!"

"Hi, it can be easy to repair damaged laminate flooring depending on the current condition and age of the laminate but equally as easy to rip up and install new with the furniture still in the room. The kitchen tiles should be an easy repair if you have some spare tiles left over from fitting. We can sort both issues out for you no problem."

"Laminate floorings are made to install one way so no repairs unless they are tiny minor cracks which filler can solve.
For kitchen tiles, you can replace it."

"It depends where about on the laminate the damage is, if near the edge may not be too difficult, the tiles shouldn’t be a problem although matching them might be.
Hope this helps"

"it's not a hard job, but it needs to be seen, changing the tiles is not bad, but the floor depends on where it's damaged, there are some halfway up the room, it takes some time to change them"
