Sink and toilet not working, drainage issue

Question

Toilet water and sink water coming back up.
Drainage issue. I had my home emergency insurance who sent an engineer, he flushed the system from the toilet and sink but it's still not working. Any ideas?

Definetly a blockage somewhere in the pipe work ' maybe needs to be rodded

Blocked, or collapsed sewer. Check manhole nearest to property.

Outside issue,if you have man hole in garden ,lift and check.if not find nearest one,or it could be issue in stack.

That could mean a lot of things, but most likely  blockage further down the line
