How do side-hinged garage doors differ from side-sliding garage doors

"Hi traditional side hinged doors open outwards and rearly dependent on size of garage they can open inward and a side sliding door will open upwards hinged internally on the side of door but are no good for security personally if your thinking of having a door fitted I would choose the traditional side hinged door safer and cheaper hope this can help you kind regards Vincent"

"Sliding doors usually save the space where as in my opinion side hinges can be more secure as you can use more heavy doors and lockes"
