"Why do you need a time switch for tail rail it doesn’t pull that much current you keep switching it on and off it’s crazy that’s why you have a fail to turn it up or down"

"The timer switch is usually mounted in the main system. Mounting in just one spot can be expensive."

"Can purchase a fused spur 7-day programmable timer to install outside shower room or hide in a cupboard nearby depending on personal preference"

"Yes of course! You can have a fused spur timer (you should already have a fused connection unit for the towel rail which can be easily converted into a timer unit!)

Many thanks

"Yes. Go onto the Screwfix website and search for 7643G which is a 'Greenbrook 7 day fused timer spur and costs £29.99
However, this will probably have to be fitted outside of the shower room."

"Fused spurs are normally located outside the shower room, the normal fused spur can be changed for a timer spur at very little cost with no damage or rewiring, its just a replacement"

"we would normally put the spur 3 metres away from the shower or bath and the timeswitch out of the bathroom if possible ie on its own feed not on the ring main if possible."

"Hi yes this is possible to install. It would depend on the way your radiator is currently powered and where the cable is coming from etc. These 2 factors will affect the ease and possibility of the job. But definitely, thermostatic timers are available to install."
