Shower Leaking, cracked shower tray

My shower tray is cracked and my shower is leaking but I don’t think it is leaking from the crack. Can the leak be identified and the tray replaced without disturbing the tiles?

"If the shower is only enclosed on 2 sides is may be possible to remove without disturbing the wall tiles
If enclosed on 3 sides it will only be possible if your shower is installed on a raised base or legs"

"Hi Simone !
Thanks for reaching out for advice!
The shower tray can be removed depending on how it’s was installed.
If it’s was installed over the tiled flooring it could be possible, if not chances are the surrounding tiles must be removed to be able to slide out the tray .
Thank you!
Best regards!
William"

"The cracked tray should be replaced as it will not get any better but worse. Yes any competent tradesman should be able to remove one without damage to tiles."

"Hi hope your well , the shower tray can be accessed from the ceiling below with a small access patch that can later on be filled and blended into existing ceiling"

"Very unlikely I'm afraid, sliding out the tray will probably loosen the first row of tiles, which when they are removed will loosen the next row. You might end up with a leak that you can't identify the source. Best to strip the tiles and either replace with fresh tiles or wallboarding."

"The bottom maybe 1/2 rows of tiles most likely wil need to be removed to allow the tray to slide out and new one slide in"

"If the shower tray is installed on top of the tiles then no, if the tile are butting up to it they will be disturbed.."

"Without looking at it it's hard to say but it's unlikely that you can change the tray without disturbing the tiles."
