Plumbing Shower Bar . can I connect Hose OUTLET from bar mixer to 15mm Copper pipe which has old shower head attached to it. Do not want to use sliding rail and spiral type shower hose. Before had the mixer valve installed. Now want shower BAR installed. What do I use to connect from HOSE .. female .... OUTLET . The 15mm copper pipe is inside of the tiles of which quite a few have been taken out.

"Yes as long as you make sure you put rubber washers between the connection and the 15 mil pipe they should fit ok and work very well"

"Like Steve has stated below , yes you can use these as long as you use rubber washers and be sure not to tighten the nut too much because the rubber washer gets damaged very easily."

"Hi ,I hope you alright ,yes you can connect ,but first buy a compression 15'fitting /any type/ and than remove the nut screw from the compression fitting and under the screw there is a "olive " is a cooper ring .And install for your cooper pipe and placed to the BAR outlet ,tide the screw and the olive will do the "installation" .And now you have a proper connection."
