Should there be tiles in between two adjoining sections of my roof?

Hi my question relates to a new roof I have just put on. It’s a fairly large roof and it’s split up into two sections. In between the two sides there is a dipped section which is almost flat. The roofer hasn’t put tiles on this section as the water drains towards the gutters. But should he have put some tiles here as this section is practically flat and will collect rainwater almost certainly? Should he have added tiles here and made a ridge?

"Yes I would say he should of put tiles on this section and a bit of a pitch on it so it doesn’t hold water and a ridge on it"

"It's always difficult to answer questions like this without pictures but there are a lot of cowboy roofers out there as its the only trade you don't need a qualification for but from what your saying it does sound like yes there should be some tiles and ridges, are you able to get some pictures."
