Security of key safes

How secure are key safes? Are there any known issues with using them?

Key safes are a good secure way to store keys outside of your home however we would always recommend mounting it out of sight

They are very safe a lot of security companies use them and a number of households.   Do not get caught out with a cheap one and get it fitted correctly

A hammer will knock them off the wall or a battery grinder will get in to them in seconds.

A good quality keysafe installed onto brick or concrete wall using manufacture instruction are safe. Try to use police approved ones. Its only when using cheap keysafes or when installed incorrectly . That they have been known to be broken open or  jammed up so cant be open with code. Also I try not to install them in easy view of passerby .

Key safes are secure as long as fitted properly ,but there are also different grades of these
