Safety of internal glazing

I'd like to split my kitchen and dining room with internal glazing so they are two rooms but still feel airy. My only concern is child safety. What tips do you have?

"I have done this before in a public house. We had to use toughened laminated glass. And the customer put some stickers on the glass / wording and pictures so people knew it was glass ."

"You need to fit safety glass/ thoughed so if some person walks/ runs into it will shatter and stay in the lamanite which it's designed to do."

"Hi,

If you are installing say a double glazed french door internally you can ensure that you have a low aluminium threshold (to ensure little children don't trip when walking through) You could also install hinge restrictors so that the doors lock into place when open. The best advice is to lock them when closed.

Hope this helps.

"Use toughened safety glass or possibly laminated glass depending on area of glass"

"The glass will need to be toughened, all Glass below 800mm in any property whether its windows or doors needs to be 100% toughened or higher.

Most full glass doors off the shelf will be toughened but check the descriptions"
