Replacing electric radiators

I’m looking to replace electric radiators in my flat (two with a more modern version, one with a towel rail). I’m just wondering if it is a difficult/ timely job for an electrician to do? It would need to be wall mounted and doesn’t have a plug, just an ‘off-peak’ switch.
Also, is there anything not obvious that I need to consider? Cheers

"Hi, As long as the power rating of the current radiators are similar, its a straight forward job.

I would be looking to see if the fused switch is placed outside the bathroom and the protective device is correctly selected. ( the circuit breaker)"

"Yes it’s relatively straight forward to replace heaters if they are previously electric heaters being replace by electric. The only issue would be if the cables are on the same side of the heater as the previous but this shouldn’t be a big issue for any electrician.

Are the old heaters storage heaters on an economy 7 supply? If so you may need to change over the supply to a standard"

"Many of the modern one yan need a 24 hour supply as well as an off peak facility. These will give the daytime facility as well as the times witch programming facility, but these are the most user friendly and energy efficient"

"The new style storage heaters require a permanent supply as well as the off peak supply. Towel rails in bathrooms require all sorts of additional regulations including RCD protection. Best to have a look and then advise. Quotes are free.

"If it is a straight swap then shouldn’t take long, it should have a permanent feed and an off peak feed"
