Replacing concrete fence posts near brick wall

Question

The start of the run of a garden fence starts just a foot alongside my brick wall 
If I replace the list should I have a membrane between the wall and the post so that the postcrete doesn’t bind with the wall below ground ?

You don’t need membrane ,,,,, with the running up against existing wall you buy brick expansion it’s a10mm thickness of foam so not touching existing wall ,,,,,(brick expansion)....

You could do that, it’s nothing major as if the post needed replacing before the wall a decent company would remove without any issues

Yes I would certainly tank membrane up the wall so that water doesn't sit on the postcrete under ground and seep through the brickwork. I hope I answered your question.

No I wouldn't say that it is necessary but for piece of mind it wouldn't cause any harm to put some membrane down .

Adding a membrane is a good idea should anyone in the future want to remove either the wall footing or postcrete. It means that one will not disturb the other if removed.
