replacement toilet

I have a ground floor toilet that has not been used for many, many years I wish to now have a new toilet fitted, will it involve much work to connect it to the waste pipe as it has not been used for such a long time.

"It doesn’t matter that it has not be used for many years the waste pipe will still be fine to connect on to."

"It shouldn’t be a problem. You will need a new on connector when replacing the toilet"

"Most likely it will be a normal fitting depending on what is there st the moment you may need some additional fittings"

"Shouldn't be too much of a problem go to a decent shop and request a toilet waste ,when fitting attach to back of toilet first should be stiff pulling over so the rubber seal locks correctly then literally slide the spring like end into the soil waste stack"

"Before spending any money on a new toilet get the pipe work cleaned and make sure it is still connected to the main drain you could have a subsided drain or root penetration camera look and see survey is the better way after having it cleaned"

"Should be fairly straight forward especially with there being a toilet there historically."

"No that’s an easy replacement. Pull the old toilet out, purchase a new toilet, new seat. Also do not forget to get a new pan connector and make sure the look at the pipe work as that may need altering to accommodate the new toilet."
