"Yes very easy you will need to use a chisel to lift and the floors are ready to be lifted"

"Removing wooden saddles (thresholds) on door entrances is generally a straightforward task, but the ease of removal depends on how they were installed. Here's a general approach:

Inspect the Saddles: Look for any nails, screws, or adhesive holding the saddles in place. Some might be nailed or screwed into the door frame, while others might have been glued.

Use a Pry Bar: If the saddles are nailed, you can use a pry bar or crowbar to gently lift them away from the frame. Place a thin piece of wood under the pry bar to protect the floor and minimize damage to the surrounding area.

Unscrew or Remove Nails: If screws are holding the saddle, simply remove them with a screwdriver. If there are nails, you can try using a hammer or nail puller to remove them.

Clean Up: Once the saddle is removed, you may need to patch up any small holes or marks in the frame or floor before installing the laminate.

Consider Professional Help: If you're unsure or if the saddles are particularly stubborn, you may want to consult a professional to avoid damaging the door frames or floor.

Removing the saddles shouldn't affect your ability to install a laminate floor with underfelt as long as you do it carefully. Once removed, you'll have a smoother transition for your flooring installation."

"Yep it’s very easy, but could add time to reinstall new saddles that work with the new flooring"

"It shouldn't be a big problem to remove them and make straight ground under doors."

"It will be fine as long it’s removed correctly and a good sub floor is there after any distance made"
