Remove small load-bearing wall

Ho much to remove a small (1-2m) internal wall which is load bearing? The wall would need to be replaced by a beam on the ceiling

"Depending on the size you should be looking at around £1400 to £1800 anything cheaper than that I would be concerned that the contractor doesn’t actually know what they are doing hope this helps"

"When calculating cost of load bearing walls weather its 1 t010 meters you look at how you are going to secure it. The cost of hiring prop ups and how many are to be fitted. The number of tradesman on site anteater you are carrying the rubble away or you are hiring the skip so usually some of the costs will not be known except the labour of 2 or 3 tradesman. When you are hired you can the check on how much all other things to be used will cost you then produce an accurate cost and total."
