Remove cover plates

How can you remove cover plates around light switches and can painters do this when I hire a painter to paint my house in the future

"Normally these are separate to the switch and can be removed by loosening the light switch and turning the cover plate at such an angle that it fits over and off the light switch.
Failing that, remove the switch completely.
A competent person should be able to manage that."

"If it's screw less switch you can se on side or in corner dedicated hole for screwdriver to pulling cover out"

"If the switches are screw-less then you may need to pop off the front plate with a small flat head screwdriver, typically one of the corners / somewhere on the bottom will be indented for this.

I recommend turning the power off to any appliance you are removing from the wall in case of loose connections that could lead to cables being where they should not!

When there are exposed conductive parts I recommend power is kept off."
