Removal companies and houseplants

I've read somewhere that removal companies don't transport houseplants. Is this true?

"This is not true as long as they are packed correctly there is no reason they should not be moved"

"Most removal companies will take plants. It is worth pruning and repotting them before the move (if required), and ensuring they are wrapped and protected though. Please note that removals companies will not take plants into storage."

"I do not see a problem with moving plants as long as they are secure and protected."

"Most of the companies avoid to transport house plant because they are fragile and you cant load them safe without covering too much space and is not really cost efective, but if you wrap them good , will be much on the cost of the quote!!!"
