What is reinforced grass paving and what are its pros and cons?

Reinforced grass paving are usually pressed concrete blocks with a void in the middle. They are laid in the soil then backfilled with more topsoils and grass seeded. The benefits are they take heavy load bearing without the need for full excavation and are classed as temporary for planning purpose.
