"The rainwater would essentially be drawn to the bottom of the saw toothed roof into a drop running the length of the roof into a box gutter and into the down pipe system ,"

"Heavy Snowfall: The construction of sawtooth roofs involves many valleys, slopes and windows. Therefore, there is a risk of leakage during heavy rains or snowfall. Therefore, if its use is appropriate in an arid region.
Expensive to Construction: Due to its complex design, it requires a variety of materials through proper planning. Sawtooth roofs cost more to make than other traditional roofs. For this type of roof, you will also need a suitable designer architect, which increases the cost of sawtooth roofs.
Durability: Sawtooth roofs are compromised in different parts to reduce the weight of the roof. The effect of which naturally falls on the Sawtooth roofs. Therefore its risk damage and maintenance problems.
High Maintenance: This type of roof is prone to corrosion due to trapped water. This is because most of the metal sheets are used in different parts of this type of roof. This makes the actual design of the roof susceptible to leakage into the existing glass.
Lifespan: Consequently, it is advisable to use high-quality roofing materials that can withstand adverse weather conditions. It is important to take care of sawtooth roofs periodically to increase their lifespan and efficiency.
Sawtooth Roof Orientation: The diagonal shape in sawtooth roofs can interfere with the view of nearby houses and buildings. However, since the materials used are transparent, there is more space and less obstruction for people living near sawtooth roofs."

"If you’re in the middle there would be valley in the centre of the roof if you’re at the end you would have a standard gutters system both would drain off the roof thur the downspouts"

"the water would run into a gully that would either run to the end of the roof into a hopper gutter or there would be a downpipe in the centre going through the building into the drainage system in the ground"

"Hello!
A sawtooth roof is a unique architectural design characterized by a series of ridges with vertical glass or translucent panels on one side and a sloping roof on the other side. The primary purpose of a sawtooth roof is to provide ample natural light to the interior space. Rainwater drainage on a sawtooth roof typically involves a combination of integrated guttering and downpipes.

Here's how rainwater drainage or guttering works on a sawtooth roof:

Guttering: Each sloping section of the sawtooth roof has an integrated gutter running along its lower edge. The gutter collects rainwater that falls on the roof surface.

Downpipes: At regular intervals along the length of the roof, there are downpipes or drainpipes attached to the guttering. These downpipes carry the collected rainwater down to the ground.

Water flow: The sloping design of the roof ensures that rainwater flows down the panels and onto the roof surface. It then moves towards the gutter, where it is collected and directed towards the downpipes.

Proper gradient: It's crucial for the gutters to have a slight gradient or slope to facilitate water flow towards the downpipes. This ensures that rainwater doesn't accumulate or become stagnant in the guttering system.

Drainage system: Once the rainwater reaches the downpipes, it is directed away from the building's foundation through an underground drainage system or a surface drainage system, such as a soakaway or a stormwater drain.

It's worth noting that the design and specifics of rainwater drainage on a sawtooth roof can vary depending on the building's structure and the local building codes or regulations. Consulting with an architect, roofing specialist, or building professional would provide more precise information tailored to a specific sawtooth roof design.
All the best.

"Water only damages problems when there is a problem in the roof, or there is something broke. That’s the only way and damage a lot of things in all different kinds away."

"Sawtooth roofs will mainly have internal outlets that then connect to a pipe running through the building to a drain. Very rare but in some cases they may have a fall created to either end to then shoot off into hopper heads and then into an external pipe that runs down the side of the building."
