Putting up a shed

Would putting up a shed including creating a solid base for it, be within the scope of most handymen?

"If the shed would stand on a patio or decking, there shouldn't be a problem for a handyman to assemble the shed, as most prefabricated sheds come with a manual. Although if the shed would stand on the ground, soil or grass it would require wooden or concrete base. I would say it's a job for a carpenter."

"Sheds require solid ground preferably flat. However wooden sheds usually have bases which must be level.
Dependant on XP of handy persons in your area they can build it."

"Depends on where you are erecting shed and what base you have already to the design of your shed. For example bigger shed may need a greater base to take weight, or any waste pipes or services needed to feed the build would have to be hidden within the base for a better cleaner finish depending on shed erecting"

"As a handyman myself i would say yes, it would be down to individual handymen though depending on how much work wouljd be involved to dig out and level, it may be the case that a mini digger would be needed which most handymen wouldnt have at their disposal"
