"Generally electricians would charge as per the quoted price following a visit to the property to ensure there is nothing else needed to slow the change in socket or light switch, providing the checks have been conducted and works can be completed usually a call out charge of £50 would apply followed by a hourly rate of around £25 per hour it is best you try and get the electrician to visit first to check the works are straight forward as extra fees would apply for any additional works"

"Hi there,

It would be just the call out fee of £45. Although I am considerably cheap compared to others who may charge £120 for a light replacement alone."
