Push fittings on shower feed

Are push fittings OK to use on pipes feeding a shower?

"They are ok but Push fit can have a limited life span and because the shower feeds are likely to be behind tiles, any issues you have will require breaking tiles to fix. I would advise soldered or press fit joints to guarantee a longer life span of the joints."
