Pros and cons of crushed stone driveway

What are the pros and cons of crushed stone driveway? Would you recommend this type of driveway?

"It is a less expensive way to complete an area. The cons are that the stones are noisy, they get everywhere, and look less expensive. So it depends on your budget. Higher end will always look best but budgets are firm."

"The best pro is that water drainage won’t be an issue
The worst con for me is it attracts fox’s, cats to mess on it unfortunately."

"Yes as long as it's 2 foot in depth lay drive way membrane to all area lay crushed stone to all area whacked in for a solid foundation"
