New 'wall' to hang sliding doors from

I currently have a open wall to ceiling gap between my kitchen and living room. I would like to hang sliding doors but these all seem to require a section of wall above the doors to hang from.
I need to fit a 'wall' across the top of the existing archway that is capable of supporting hanging doors. What tradesperson would I need?
And any alternative solutions to this issue?

"This is not nessaser, there are alternatives to sliding the door base on the area you have either side of the opening. Is all based on the actual area of wall to opening."

"I would say you’re definitely looking for a joiner! I assume the sliding doors are in there own frame, a timber bulk head boarded with ply and plaster board ( if you’ve got the thickness to do that) the width of the opening would determine what timber you require. Hope that helps."

"You would need a joiner to build a frame above the doors an possibly sides if necessary.

"You will need a carpenter.
But you don't need to have any wall fitted or a bulk head system.... if you go online and search for. Ceiling hung sliding door rail"

"I have a sliding door to my downstairs shower room and all I did was install a rail which the door could slide along you could possibly do something like that and wouldn’t need to do anything else"

"The sliding door can be installed with a rail that is fixed/hung on the ceiling. You need just a good carpenter for this task."
