How do I get rid of moths underneath my sofa?

Moths really like the carpet under my sofa. I vacuum regularly and have tried both cedar balls and lavender spray but they keep returning. What else can I try?

"A deep hoover of the carpet and under sofa and a moth spray treatment."

"The moths aren't the problem, it's the larvae. You may kill the adults but not before she's laid hundreds of eggs. You need a professional pest control technician to treat all carpets in the house with a residual insecticide"

"The moths are pretty harmless, it's the larvae that do the damage. You'll need a professional treatment."

"They may not be just under the sofa and use that as a safe and dark place for egg laying. You need specialist sprays that treat all the life cycle stages..
Suggest a professional treatment of the whole room. After treating Moth traps/monitors are place, between the follow up. Use a company that guarantee their work.

"Look for your local pest controller for residual treatment. There could be hundreds of eggs on your carpets which can be dealt with by a professional pest controller."

"We would recommend our professional fumigation treatment for controlling of a moth issue. Keep vacuuming regularly especially underneath furniture and the corners of the rooms."

"I use a professional product on carpets which is guaranteed unlike online products that are not guaranteed.
Long term after treatment, a scotch guard may be applied to prevent further infestations."
