"Stainless steel is very good outside as it has good anti-rust but you can also have it made in mild steel and then powder coated any colour you can think of. Powder coating protects steel from rusting aswell.

"No , you can use most metals it just as to suit the place it is going ie stainless is for outdoor as well as indoor and for kitchens . And other steels can be good for most other areas ."

"No. I've been making handrails out of stainless steel and mild steel for 30 odd years. It up to the customer what they would like and how it looks."

"NO U COULD USE MILD STEEL I WOULD RECOMMEND GALVANIZED HANDRAIL"

"No you can also use mild steel and then either paint or powder coat, stainless Steel is alot more expensive aswell, but it also depends on the look that you are trying to achieve."
