Mains powered garden lights

I'd like some permanent outdoor lighting for my garden and decking (not solar or battery as they're too unreliable). What's the easiest way to hook lights and wiring up the mains safely?

"The easiest and safest way to install mains powered external lighting is to call a qualified electrician who is a member of a competent persons scheme. Ask them to quote for the work you require & instruct them to complete the work if you’re happy with their quote."

"Depending on the amount of lights you are installing you may he able to spur off socket circuit in house or garden shed and protect lights through fused spur.
If there are a large amount of lights with large load it maybe better to install new circuit. But that would be dependent on having spare ways in the board."

"Taking power from an Indoor supply like a socket off the ring main to an outdoor switched fuse spur with 3amp fuse to cover outdoor lighting supply.

Your choice of outdoor lighting will determine your required wiring installation"

"The best way is to get an electrician to come round see what is required to make the installation safe as it is out side and needs to be extra safe, then discuss a price and let him install them
Thanks Jack"

"Usually, the easiest and least disruptive solution is through a wireless receiver. Supplied from a local socket and fused down."
